Testimonials from our Preschool Parents

"MVCTC’s preschool has been a great experience for our son and our family. He looked forward to going and developed great relationships with the teachers and other preschoolers. We appreciated the welcoming environment and hands-on activities , and loved watching him grow in confidence and independence while preparing for kindergarten."

Josh Rarick

"We've had two kids with very different personalities and learning styles that have both loved and thrived at MVCTC preschool. We love the staff:student ratio, how prepared they become for kindergarten, their themed letter activities each week, as well as the field trips they take throughout the building. We will happily be sending our third child here knowing all the attention and academics they get will set them up for success!"

About the MVCTC Preschool

Laughter, encouragement, hands-on exploration, and learning are all part of the MVCTC Preschool experience.

Our preschool offers a unique learning environment for children ages 3–5 and serves as an important part of MVCTC's Early Childhood Education career-technical program.

Under the guidance of Early Childhood Education instructors, MVCTC junior and senior students learn about child development, instructional strategies, classroom management, and curriculum. They then apply those skills through hands-on experiences in our fully functioning preschool.

Preschoolers participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities designed to encourage creativity, social development, independence, and a love of learning. Morning and afternoon sessions are offered with a high staff-to-child ratio, providing children with plenty of interaction, encouragement, and individual attention.

Lessons and activities reflect current educational practices and incorporate hands-on learning, art, music, movement, and exploration.
