Northmont Middle School Visited by Innovator Robotics

Innovator Robotics recently visited the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) classes at Northmont Middle School, showcasing a FIRST Robotics Competition robot. The demonstration held special significance as the robot was built by former Northmont Middle School students who had previously been enrolled in Mrs. Boston's and Mrs. Holbrook's PLTW classes.

The visit served a dual purpose: to inspire current students and to recruit for Innovator Robotics' 2025 competition team. The team is actively seeking students who can apply the skills taught in Robotics and Design & Modeling classes to design, build, and program a competition robot capable of successfully completing the competition challenge.

This hands-on demonstration gave students a tangible example of how their current coursework can lead to exciting opportunities in robotics and engineering. It also highlighted the practical applications of the skills they're developing in their PLTW classes.
