MVCTC FFA Chapters Recognized at 2025 National FFA Convention

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) students representing multiple satellite and main campus FFA chapters joined more than 70,000 FFA members, advisors, and guests from across the nation at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. The four-day event, held from October 29 to November 1, focused on agricultural leadership, education, and innovation.

Students attended general sessions in Lucas Oil Stadium, participated in leadership workshops, toured major agribusinesses, and connected with colleges and industry professionals at the national FFA Expo. Several MVCTC chapters were recognized for student achievement, leadership, and chapter success.

  • Eaton MVCTC FFA - Advised by Carley Asher, the Eaton MVCTC FFA Chapter celebrated Delaney Deaton and Lydia Eilerman, both American FFA Degree recipients and 2023 graduates. Deaton is studying at The Cumberlands, while Eilerman continues pursuing agricultural leadership opportunities. Chapter members attended multiple convention sessions and toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

  • Franklin Monroe-MVCTC FFA - Under the leadership of Kevin Bergman, Quinter Garber and Mason Lair received American FFA Degrees. Lair, a two-year chapter president, demonstrated exceptional commitment to agricultural education. Chapter members attended the Corteva Agriscience industry tour and explored Indianapolis’ agricultural career opportunities.

  • Miami East-MVCTC FFA - Led by Marie Carity, Miami East celebrated Fletcher Harris, Alaina Helsinger, Reagan Howe, and Wyatt Black among its recognized students. Black and Rhylee Eichhorn were honored for premier chapter activities, while the chapter itself received a Three-Star Chapter Award, one of the highest national honors for chapter excellence. Members toured Quiet Harmony Elk Ranch and attended several leadership development sessions.

  • Milton-Union MVCTC FFA - Under the guidance of Suzanne Kimball, Jennifer Riquelme earned her American FFA Degree. Members attended the Opening Session Keynote by A’ric Jackson and participated in several convention activities, including tours of MVP Dairy, Quiet Harmony Ranch, and Hunter’s Honey Farm.

  • National Trail-MVCTC FFA - Advisors Eric and Carmen Kennel led students recognized as a Three-Star Chapter at the national level. Blake Osswald (Class of 2023) earned an American FFA Degree. The chapter’s experience included tours of Beck’s Seeds and a session with the Indiana Department of Agriculture.

  • Twin Valley South-MVCTC FFA - Advised by Alison Derringer, Danielle Denlinger earned her American FFA Degree. Denlinger, now an Edison State Community College graduate with an associate degree, represents the chapter’s strong postsecondary success. The group toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Museum, participating in leadership activities and networking sessions.
