Partner With MVCTC: Spring Is Hiring Season for Future Talent

As spring arrives, so does one of the most important opportunities for your business to build its future workforce.

At Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC), spring is when our junior students are ready to connect with employers for School-to-Work employment opportunities for the upcoming school year. These students have spent the year developing hands-on skills and are now prepared to step into real-world roles.

Why Partner With MVCTC?

By working with MVCTC, you gain access to a pipeline of motivated, career-ready students who are eager to contribute and grow.

MVCTC offers several structured options to fit your workforce needs:

Option 1: Two-Week On/Off Rotation (Full-Time)

  • Students begin working the summer before senior year
  • Alternate: 2 weeks at work / 2 weeks at school
  • Employers are encouraged to hire two students for continuity

Option 2: Half-Day Internship / Pre-Apprenticeship

  • Students work half days during the school year
  • Available afternoons and weekends
  • Can begin during the first semester

Option 3: Advanced Placement / Co-op

  • Available starting December of senior year
  • Based on GPA and attendance
  • Half-day schedule (afternoons/weekends)
