MVCTC Education Foundation Supports Students in Need
MVCTC Education Foundation Supports Students in Need
The Miami Valley Career Technology Center Education Foundation helps remove financial barriers that may prevent students from completing their education and reaching their career goals.
Established in 1991 by MVCTC staff and community leaders, the Foundation provides financial assistance to students based on need. Support may include career-specific materials and tools, school fees, emergency needs, and scholarships for students continuing their education after MVCTC.
Assistance Available for MVCTC Students and Families
MVCTC understands that unexpected expenses and financial challenges can create barriers for students and families. The Education Foundation may be able to provide assistance when financial or personal circumstances affect a student's ability to participate fully in their education.
Families who are experiencing difficulty paying school fees or other education-related expenses are encouraged to have their student speak with their MVCTC School Counselor. Counselors can help students and families discuss their needs and determine what assistance or resources may be available.

Help Support MVCTC Students
The Education Foundation also offers alumni, families, staff, businesses, community members, and other supporters an opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of MVCTC students.
Charitable contributions help the Foundation provide short-term assistance to students facing financial challenges. The Foundation's mission is to assist students whose financial or personal needs could otherwise prevent them from achieving an education and reaching their full potential.
Donors can support the Foundation in several ways, including:
- Making a direct financial gift
- Making a memorial gift in honor of a loved one
- Establishing a pledge
- Seeking support through an employer's community giving program
- Making planned or deferred gifts
The Dayton Foundation provides fiscal management for the MVCTC Education Foundation, and you can make online donations through the Foundation's donation link. Click here to donate.
